2137 Calgary Highlanders Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps We are one of 5 Army Cadet Corps in Calgary and part of the greater Canadian Cadet Movement.
The cadet program is geared towards youth between the ages of 12 - 19. Come down to find out what we're all about!
During this ACR (annual ceremonial review), CWO (cheif warrant officer) Saunders and WO (warrant officer) Sunderland had their aging out ceremony, the Royal Canadian Legion Cadet Medal of Excellence was given to MCPL (master corporal) Dron, and MWO (master warrant officer) Rios was appointed as the corps new RSM (regimental sergeant major).

Congratulations to everyone who got promoted and passed their star levels, as well as a special congratulations to CWO Saunders for officially becoming our CWO and 2Lt Shaukat for receiving his Commissioning Scroll.

The 2026 Highland Challenge brought together cadets from 2137, 2383, 3016, and 3125 RCACC for navigation, trekking, abseiling, marksmanship, orienteering, and the Army Cadet Challenge at Rocky Mountain CTC

Tonight, it was my honour and privilege to welcome our newest member into the CIC, OCdt Marcus Nielsen! It is a full circle moment, as OCdt Nielsen was the RSM of the cadet corps and now is back to continue his role as mentor and help shape the future of our youth.
