In honour of National Indigenous History Month, we’re highlighting the story behind Nathan P. Meguinis’s mural, Travelling Family, which found its home on the north wall of CanLearn Society in August 2021. What began as an unplanned addition turned out to beautifully reflect our commitment to anti-discrimination, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
If you haven’t had the chance to see it yet, we encourage you to visit and experience its powerful message for yourself.
Through meaningful symbols, colours, and characters, the mural speaks to the voices of children affected by residential schools while reclaiming space for Indigenous ways of knowing. It invites us to listen more deeply, broadening our understanding and inspiring us to continue building peace.
This collaboration has opened the door to important conversations, bringing hope and creating positive change. It’s a reminder of how vital it is to uplift voices that have been historically excluded and to centre them in the work we do.
Thank you, Nathan, for sharing your remarkable gift with us.

During Pride Month and always, we recognize the experiences of those at the intersection of neurodiversity and 2SLGBTQIA+ identities. Feeling seen, safe, and supported matters — and at CanLearn, we’re committed to creating spaces where that’s possible.
Our doors are open. You are welcome here, just as you are!

Global Accessibility Awareness Day 🌍
Over one billion people face digital barriers every day—and we hear it from families too:
💬 “How can my teen with ADHD stay organized and on time?”
💬 “How can my child better understand what they read?”
💬 “How can they get their ideas onto paper more easily?”
At CanLearn, we provide tools, strategies, and personalized support to help learners build confidence and succeed.✨
Not sure where to start? Try booking a coaching session. Our coaches and academic strategists work with adults, parents, and students navigating ADHD and autism-related challenges.
We help you understand how your brain works so you can build strategies that fit your life.
No diagnosis is required to benefit from coaching.
