June is , and we’re proud to deliver safe, reliable and affordable power to 85 per cent of Albertans. As Alberta’s largest electricity provider, we have approximately 13,400 kilometres of transmission lines and 310 substations that connect homes, farms, businesses and industries to diverse generation resources across the province.
We operate 24/7/365 to keep the lights on, and our team is always focused on doing the right thing for each other and our customers. This includes having a comprehensive wildfire mitigation plan in place to protect the communities and customers we serve and consistently keeping our rates below 2018 levels for the last seven years.
Our Environmental Team has been out across the province delivering Nest Awareness Training!
From spotting nests to knowing what to do if they find one, our crews are learning how to check their work areas and protect local wildlife. This training is just another way we’re protecting our environment and communities.

We’re celebrating two years without a preventable vehicle accident! This milestone reflects our people’s commitment to safety and looking out for one another.
In that time, we’ve driven more than 6.9 million kilometres and completed over 800 hours of driver training, keeping safety front and center for ourselves and our communities.
It’s all part of the culture we’re proud of at AltaLink, where we do the right thing safely every day.
