I loved “rediscovering” bands back in high school, around 2010 I learned Black Sabbath originally started as a band called Earth. Ozzy ruined music for me, as a young guitarist. By this, I mean, I always assumed a singer for hire would be able to come to come to a jam sessnion and write melodies for the riffs the band wrote… boy was I wrong!! Most singers i meet write on an instrument and present songs to the group and we follow them … Ozzy was different, one if a kind, he would hand-pick musicians to jam so he could write over them…. WHOLE OTHER LEVEL, WHOLE OTHER CATEGORY… and the man wasnt aware of his talent … raw and honest, for all his mistakes, even loosers like me wouldnt have a clue in hell how to procede in writing a song without him… now Im a lifer!
