Do you want to see the new version of a true 80s toy classic in full force? Follow our account, tag the friend you’d bring with you, and tell us your favourite Masters Of The Universe character! We will pick the winners tomorrow.

We’ve had the good people from set up outside Dickens tonight helping collect signatures to petition the provincial government to prohibit through legislation all coal exploration and mining activities on the Eastern slopes of Alberta’s Rocky Mountains. Check them out for more info but in short, fresh, clean water is a better bet for our prosperity than yet more environmentally dubious mining exploits especially under our current government. They’ll be here a few times for our bigger events in the coming weeks.

After 4 years, we are proud to welcome back to Dickens for the 35th anniversary tour celebrating the songs of the great Shane MacGowan of The Pogues (and The Popes). This is sure to be a fun and rowdy Friday night!
