Hello, Bonjour! Tea Fannie doesn’t actually speak french but she is Canadian to the fullest. Her name may be complicated to spell but she says to take it up with her mother. This Alberta rapper started off her music career in Edmonton and moved around a lot (her father served). 4 provinces, 9 cities but she calls Calgary home! She grew up listening to Kenny Rogers and Whitney Houston, no typo, and by the time she was old enough to choose her own ear vibes she was into Green Day and Nas. Her music style reflects that in a random way especially because she listens to music for lyrical content over beats which is kind of different in this day and age. Her music is heavily lyrical as well and she wants people to go back and listen to it again like: “did she just say…???” TeaFannie Music

Karla Marx, Calgary’s Most Naked Drag Queen, puts the Mao in LMAO! She has the eye of the tiger and the mouth of a teamster! Karla is the mother of the Marx Werk Ware Haus, a board member of Cabaret Calgary, and performs drag, burlesque, and stand up comedy across Canada. She recently performed at the Hollywood Burlesque Festival, and just finished a tour of the UK and France. Karla was voted Best Host by Imperial Burlesque Canada and placed second in the Draglesque category. She recently starred in Comedy Invasion, a comedy TV showcase available in November on Amazon Prime and Tubi.

I am a gothy Metis Edmontonian who's been playing guitar since my early teens. I have been the guitarist in a few bands and jam out with local musicians every chance I get. One could say, I have a complicated relationship with music, but ultimately it brings me a lot of happiness. Playing guitar is cathartic; I use it as a form of self-therapy. Oh, and I love animals, so I don't eat em! I eat a lot of plants instead!
