We are hosting a clothing drive with , our fave charity thrift shop in the city. One lucky donator each day of the market will receive a $50 gift card to use at any booth at MC.

If you haven’t heard about this new shop, here yah go:

Good Neighbour is Calgary's first volunteer-run pay-what-you-want clothing market that provides a dignified shopping experience to all Calgarians regardless of income. We accept donations of clothing, shoes, books, plants and non-perishable food.
100% of all money raised goes to buying food for community fridge and pantries in Calgary.

Please bring us your donations of:
- Freshly washed clothing
- Clean shoes
- Reusable bags
- Pillows and blankets/sleeping bags
- We *do not* accept baby clothes/toys/housewares/dishware/appliances/electronics or dvds

To kick off the clothing drive, we’re giving away a $50 gift card because we need help spreading the word. Simply tag a friend (who you think really needs to clean out their closet 😉) and you’ll be entered into the draw. Winner announced Tuesday, November 23.

The People's Poetry Festival Update:

We've extended the Saturday hours to include more poets, more tickets and introduce a new guitarist: David Hirschman.

Your Saturday ticket allows you to come and go anytime from 1pm-7:30 (workshop is separate). Just bring your vax record, your mask and your love of poetry! Don't forget we have slots for open mic too.
