Saving Ringo
Ringo is a sweet 3 year old German shepherd with Hydrocephalus. He was born in my home and I had to g Ringo is a special little puppy.
When he was born, we knew that he was a little different than the other pups. Now that he is growing up, he needs a little medical help in order for him to be back to his normal, happy self. #savingringopup

The treatment for Ringo!

To the person that has Ringo! I hope you love him! I have instructions to help him in previous posts. I only ask that you let me know how he is doing. A picture of him would be nice! I've been praying for you , your family and Ringo. God bless you!

Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society say they care. Then why won't they check on Ringo after giving him away? They were informed Ringo (called Ritter by AARCS) was not looking right and I had a treatment that would work. I was promised they would look after Ringo and get an update and they lied about both. I asked them to give the new owners my info so if Ringo had problems but I doubt they did that either. They care more about how they look then about a special needs dog. AARCS has no accountability to anyone. I can only hope I am not the only person trying to make sure they have done the right thing for the animals they were trusted to re-home

Ringo's health or in this case his sight is at risk without treatment. Ringo only has peripheral vision and if his eyes sink into his head it limits the little sight Ringo has. I have a treatment I am willing to give to the new owners. Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society (AARCS) thinks I want to take Ringo back. I only wish to inform and give the medication to help Ringo and that is all. I asked for a update to see if anything else was going wrong. If AARCS is not willing to pass on the info and medication to the new owners of Ringo they have not punished me. They are punishing Ringo! I do feel hurt because I could help Ringo but AARCS will not let me.
So this whole time I was lied to by AARCS!!!! Why as the owner am I not able to get an update!!!!! I had Ringo for 3 years and the foster family had him less than 3 months. I looked him up..he had to lose some weight apparantly, when he was healthy he was adopted out and the foster cried very hard ( which we do when we find a home for our fosters)
They had updated pics he is very happy and healthy. Lots of people in rescue followed him and loved him until his adoption, because we know we have to give the adoptive family provacy. That is all i can give you, if that is not enough then you would be someone i couldn't trust. I didn't have to look up or share that info, and if you use it against me, i will know you are one of the people you hate.
Please leave rescue alone. I spent time tonight trying to make you feel better about your decision. You have only put down people who are selfless on an hourly basis and shouldnt have to defend themselves against someone who asked them for a favor.
I do feel for you, but empathy only goes so far as the empathy you also give.

This is the last message I sent to AARCS. Understand I don't want anything! I only wanted to give the new owners the medical info not in any of the vet's knots. It would take to long for me to type. If you talk to the vet Ringo saw at the care centre he could tell you some of the things I did. I asked to talk to the foster people to let them know some of Ringo's issues. The only reason I wished to pass on the info is so Ringo didn't suffer unnecessarily. If your organization cared about the animals you re-homed you would think making sure all medical info was passed on?

I have still not heard anything about Ringo!! I can only hope that the people loved you as much as I did!! God bless you Ringo!!!
