Sunday, May 24 is the Day of Pentecost, commemorating the gift of the Holy Spirit upon the apostles and other followers of Jesus, fifty days after Easter and ten days after the Ascension. People from many nations heard the apostles speaking in their own languages, reassuring us that the Christian message is for everyone.
