It's definitely been a minute.

Hope you're all doing well and getting back into some normalcy. I certainly couldn't let this day slip by without sharing some St. Paddy's Day goodness.

So....Happy St. Paddy's Day. *pinch pinch* ๐Ÿ€

Work Tip:

Stand up. Stretch. Take a walk. Go to the airport. Get on a plane.
Never return.

I have been filling out a lot of personal paperwork over the last few months and there is a light at the end of the tunnel. More on that exciting news soon...but, it reminded me of this post.

I most definitely was taught to play the recorder in school, and thankfully have someone else do my taxes.

That's an ok balance, right? ๐Ÿฅ ๐ŸŽถ

As the weather gets colder out there, frozen pipes can be a big concern. ๐Ÿฅถ

1. Make sure that you turn off the water flow to all outside faucets to avoid any freezing and bursting.

2. Disconnect all hoses from outside taps. Run the water outside on each faucet until the water stops flowing. This releases any water trapped in the pipes, reducing the chance of that pipe freezing and allowing you to safely repair if necessary.

3. Go above and beyond and insulate. Pipe insulation is inexpensive and can help protect your plumbing and valves from extreme temperature variations.

* Seal any open spaces, gaps or foundations cracks that can allow cold air to circulate around your pipes.

* Close all basement windows and foundation vents in the winter to prevent cold outside air from reducing the ambient temperature in unheated crawl spaces and basements.

Blowing minds, one insurance policy at a time! ๐Ÿคฏ โœŒ๐Ÿป

But, in all seriousness. I truly appreciate the kind words and am always happy to help!

โ€œOnce Iโ€™m officially Regional Manager, my first order of business will be to demote Jim Halpert. So I will need a new number two. My ideal choice? Jack Bauer. But he is unavailable. Fictional. And overqualified.โ€

Anyway! That's almost another Friday in the books! I'm just checking in with the boss to see what we are up to this weekend! An assistant's job is never done.

Wednesday Wisdom: If youโ€™re financing a vehicle you must carry full coverage on that vehicle until it is paid off.

Always make sure to take that into consideration if you're shopping around, especially at those end-of-the-year sales that might be starting to flood your social feeds and email inboxes.

If you're on the lookout, I can help you when it comes to pricing out a new ride.

You know, just over here showing my undying love for Dill Pickles and shorts.

Heard that it was supposed to snow something like 10 cm tomorrow. I just wanted to leave this as a reminder of warmer days.

It's time for a long-overdue instalment of Just The Tip Tuesday!

I mentioned winter tires yesterday but wanted to do a little PSA on maintaining the tires you currently have.

Do you actually know what PSI stands for? It means Pounds per Square Inch, and itโ€™s the unit of measurement that reflects the air pressure inside your tire.

Over-inflating your tires can cause increased wear and tear and allow them to be more prone to damage. Underinflating your tires can negatively affect your gas mileage and increase the possibility of a blowout.

Most vehicles sit comfortably between 27 and 35 PSI. However, it's always best practice to reference your vehicle's manual for the appropriate fill on your tires.

My wife had to brave Costco on a Sunday because...diapers. ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿผ But, anyway she mentioned that the tire center lineup was insane.

So it begins! Winter tires, especially in Alberta are ALWAYS a good idea!

Having your vehicle equipped with appropriate tires allows you to stop over 30% more quickly than that of their all-season counterpart.

Something to think about now, if you're looking to make the switch! Safety first! ๐Ÿš™

WE DID IT! It's Friday and that's something to celebrate. Anything planned for this glorious weekend?

Also, asking for a friend...what's the proper way to hold your kid while reading a book? Inquiring minds want to know!

Thanks for the fun read Justine Poirier, I promise he enjoys it.

Did this happen to anyone else today? ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผ

Well, no matter. That just means we have the whole day tomorrow to overhaul your insurance!
