February is over so it’s time for the annual roundup 👏 (in order of enjoyment except for the cover photo which was just cute)
☕️ SMOKED CREAMY PEANUT BUTTER “ROCKY ROAD” soooo good sooo peanut buttery and warm!
☕️ .co MIDNIGHT ORANGE this one was a close second, the little chief one just won me over slightly more
☕️ CONFETTI BLISS also so peanut buttery and good plus the marshmallow square. Just slightly sweeter than the other two
☕️ L’OR CHOCOLATÉ À L’ÉRABLE so drinkable and good flavours. Would drink year round
☕️ .eatery CHERRY BLASTED HOT CHOCOLATE as the same suggests. Very cherry. Marshmallow was sooo good
☕️ PRETTY FLY (FOR A WHITE CHAI) love the name and this was a unique option! Would drink if it was a regular option too.
☕️ 94 take the cake CHOCOLATE CHERRY VELVET
nothing special but the cupcake was delicious (and they had gluten free cupcakes so that’s a plus)
☕️ KaffeeKlatsch BANANENBROT MIT SCHOKOLADE the dehydrated banana bread was really good and a great idea. Just had some flavour I didn’t love
☕️ for goodness bake ✨ ROOTBEER CHAI HOT CHOCOLATE ✨ didn’t realize this was fully vegan and it was just bland and not great. Couldn’t taste chai or root beer, or chocolate for that matter. Whipped cream was WEIRD.

If you loved women’s hockey in the Olympics, good news! We’ve got more, and it starts again today :)
Teams are pushing for a playoff spot and we may have more expansion coming. It’s an exciting time to become a fan.
We’re always writing articles over at , I’ve got a podcast as well each week on and I’m always here to answer your questions!
As they say in hockey, let’s do that hockey!

January was a fantastic reading month. Aside from one book, The People’s Project, which I think just reminded me that I am not jiving with poetry lately, each read was so so good.
I do feel like this month really covered some dark, or at least deep, topics.
A Sharp Endless Need really had me reliving my high school experience and feeling regret or remorse for what I did, or didn’t do, in that time, and will never get the chance to change. But also the romance and eroticism of basketball was some of the most beautiful prose I’ve ever read.
Is this a cry for help? was as good as I expected, as Emily Austin’s books always are. I didn’t really relate to the last protagonist in We Could Be Rats, but this one was extremely relatable. And infuriating. And so so good. And of course, had me overthinking and questioning a lot in my life, especially centring men and the male gaze.
And then of course, Rick Westhead’s dive into hockey culture left me absolutely changed. I will never see my sport the same way again, and I’m glad I won’t. This should be mandatory reading for everyone. It was extremely difficult to get through and took me nearly all month to listen to on audio.
And I thought Carl’s Doomsday Scenario was a fantastic sequel. 10/10 no notes.
On to February!
