Courtenay Volunteer Fire Department based on Vancouver Island in Beautiful British Columbia, Canada. Courtenay VFD provides Fire and Rescue services to the City of Courtenay and holds mutual aid agreements with surrounding departments within the Comox Valley Regional District as well as CFB Comox.

In my visit to Courtenay I was fortunate enough to capture their fleet of apparatus resting in the morning sunlight.

One of my all time favorite photos I’ve entered in to a contest with Oshkosh. My wife and I got an evening ride along in this beast all over the airport, no taxi ways no problem!!
