Lots of action, as you take care of the guests and grounds of this well-established family campground on the shores of Lac la Biche, three hours east of Edmonton Alberta Canada.
Exciting CAREER OPPORTUNITY for a couple that has been dreaming of living and working in a beautiful rural location.
There are over 180 sites and six cabins on 92 acres of lakefront RV resort with more development to come. This park has recently been purchased by a company dedicated to keeping the feel and flavour of family campgrounds in Alberta. They take care of most of the paperwork details with a centralized reservation system, payroll and such.
You would be responsible for taking care of the guests once they are there and the grounds of course. You do have a team to assist you. As it is a large park, with multiple user groups and activity areas, you should have some previous campground management experience, or at the very least, hands-on experience in the hospitality industry.
Are you a self-starter, with the ability to see your part in the big picture? Do you see solutions instead of problems? Are you ambitious, looking to build a life away from the big city? And able to think on your feet while keeping a smile on your face? If so, you might be the right match!

This position is year-round, with the bulk of the work in spring summer and fall. An on-site presence is required in the winter, that’s why there is a house for you to live in! Families welcome.

I know everyone raves about World Nomads travel insurance, but I cannot get their website to accept a payment. I've tried different browsers, devices, credit cards and incognito mode, not to mention different days, weeks and months. They don't take payments over the phone and very politely basically suggested I keep trying.
So, anyone have a company they recommend? I saw "Safe something" mentioned in some blogs but I forget which ones...
