November is shoulder season. Tomorrow we welcome winter. Wild ice season will be replaced with skis and fat bikes

In the off season, we get our hair cut with bangs. They should grow out in time for my first race.

Winner! I came second in my age category. My goal was first but considering how much I struggled I’m perfectly happy with my finish! 100 miles, so much wind and heat/humidity- this Canadian has never accomplished anything like it. :)

Forgot to get up early enough for some training on the bike. Had to go snorkeling instead. Stingrays, starfish and lots of other pretty creatures. Tomorrow I’ll ride my bike and check out the race route. Shot some GoPro footage - will post later.

Super happy to be in Cozumel! First Mexican vacation post pandemic (or any tropical place for that matter.) excited about snorkeling, and the gran fondo next weekend! Today is a great day.

New eyewear. I wanted a sheer colour frame and while I like the sheer pinks, this tan colour looks better with my hair and skin tones. I am really liking transition lenses so I don’t need to carry prescription sunglasses with me all the time. Happy Friday! Oh, and guess what? I’m heading to Cozumel to race the 160km gran fondo in a couple days. Mexico! 🇲🇽 so excited for sun, surf, snorkeling and the best tacos in the world. Adios friends! frames are

Needs coffee, rest day outfit. I’m liking the 90’s denim and oversized sweatshirts this season. Did a little restoration on my Nike Cortez so I can get some more wears out of them. Gosh I’ve had them forever now.
