Happy PRIDE month, everyone!

This month, and every month, we celebrate the right to be ourselves and live openly.

Here’s another vision brought to life by our team.

What was once a warehouse has been completely transformed into a full-court basketball facility. The space now features dedicated shooting bays, a fully equipped workout area, a refreshed reception space, and more.

From removing walls to upgrading electrical systems and installing new HVAC, this project required a full scope of work to bring it all together.

The final result? A space ready for every shot, sprint, and session.

Before joining the team, Lisa spent years in drafting, but it wasn’t until she got the chance to work on-site that everything clicked. Now 3 years into her time at RMC, Lisa’s embraced the fast-paced, hands-on nature of construction and the collaboration that comes with it.

Truthfully, every team is better with a Lisa on it.

To the mothers on our team, in our industry, and in our lives, thank you for the role you play in shaping not just our projects, but the people and communities around them.

Take a look at this transformation we completed last year, which resulted in a full renovation of a veterinary clinic and agility centre

This project required a complete overhaul of the space, including structural and framing work, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and custom millwork throughout. The finished facility features modern exam rooms, offices, washrooms, a welcoming reception and pharmacy area, and even a specialized water treadmill room for rehabilitation and training.

It was a complex project, but one we were proud to deliver to ensure our four-legged friends are cared for in a top-of-the-line facility.

In construction, every project leaves a footprint. Our responsibility is to make sure it’s as small as possible. That’s why we’re committed to minimizing demolition waste and keeping materials out of landfills whenever possible.

Last week, two of our RMC team members had the opportunity to tour the BLUprint program at the TELUS Spark Science Centre. From a VR welder to a Vortex Simulator, this incredible initiative gives kids the chance to explore the world of skilled trades through fun, hands-on, interactive learning.

Programs like this are helping inspire the next generation of builders, makers, and innovators, and we’re proud to see opportunities like this in our community.
