It's Harvest season! Your soul has been summoned into the "Forbidden Dimension" where Jackson Phibes and his cronies have been stranded since 1988 with no escape in sight. Calgary Horror Con 14 begins as Gemini shifts into Cancer with a night of mayhem with Canada's longest running Horror Rock Band.

Get ready as Sirens appear to lure you back to the depths from which they came at Hitman's Bar at 9pm. (Doors open at 8pm!) Then emerging from the shadows appears a band like no other carrying you through to the witching hour.

🚚 **YYC Food Trucks are back!** Find them in the designated area shown on the event maps.

📸 **Photo Op updates:**
- Junko Bailey will appear in full costume as Kayako Ghost.
- Allan Trautman will be joined by our friend Eli, dressed as Tarman.
- As previously announced, Brad Loree will appear in full costume as Michael Myers.

Photo ops can be purchased at the photo booth starting when doors open on Saturday. **Cash and debit are accepted.**

Calgary Horror Con XIV is taking over the Genesis Centre on October 3 and 4 for a full weekend dedicated to horror, sci-fi and everything spooky.

This year’s lineup includes stars from Cabin Fever, The Monster Squad, Friday the 13th, Halloween, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Return of the Living Dead. Fans can meet celebrity guests, grab autographs and photo ops, sit in on Q&A panels and catch special-effects makeup demonstrations. 😳

There will also be an indie horror film festival, a costume contest and more than 100 horror-themed vendors and artists selling collectibles, artwork, clothing and memorabilia.

Everyone faces challenges, keeping this running has definitely had It's fair share but I am so very grateful to those that have my back, and those that kick my butt when I need it. I can't wait for a good night's sleep after this weekend. Thank you everyone from vendors, volunteers and community for getting behind me. Longest running Horror Convention in Canada. Still going strong since 2010!

I got the news that Jordan Ladd was going to have to postpone her visit to Calgary due to a film commitment. Doing my best to get a replacement guest. Hopefully schedules align and we can have Jordan visit us next year. All the rest of the flights are booked and we will be seeing everyone else next Weekend!
