This 3 hour workshop takes you through the steps of putting together a 3D form from flat foam. Attendees will glue, assemble and decorate a simple Dinosaur puppet under the guidance of pro puppet makers!

Just in time for the Halloween season, Puppet Stuff invites you to come make your very own werewolf hand puppet! Using a unique pattern designed by our team, we guide you through the process of creating the character following industry standard techniques.

Blacklight Puppet Creation & Performance Workshop 👻

Learn how to make and perform your very own blacklight ghost puppet! On the first day, participants will get to play with blacklight painting and finishing techniques, and assemble and paint their very own shrouded ghouls, selecting from pre-cast puppet heads to customize. On the second day, attendees will learn blacklight performance techniques and join in a choreographed number with their puppets!

Week-Long Advanced Puppet Building Intensive 🤩

This week-long course takes you through every step of making your own TV style, fur and fleece, hand & rod puppet from your own original design. From patterning to fabrication and finishing, this is an advanced and in depth course with the entire Puppet Stuff team of artists who will guide you through pro techniques and tips for the best results for on camera puppets.

Puppetry is an exciting art form with endless possibilities! Get your arms up in the air and find out what goes into making magic for a television puppet show with professional puppeteers Brendan James Boyd and Reese Scott, who’s credits include Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock, the Calgary’s Future commercial campaign, Tina’s Tales of Terror, and more! Participants will get to explore the style popularized by children’s television by using a variety of puppet types to explore the possibilities, challenges and techniques used to create a convincing and captivating performance on camera.
