Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has rolled out a significant update to its online processing times tool — a change that brings much-needed transparency to permanent residence and citizenship applicants.

At Foothills Immigration, we’re integrating this tool into our client processes—helping you monitor progress, interpret estimates, and stay informed every step of the way.

Applicants Can Now See Personalized Processing Times for PR & Citizenship Under IRCC’s Updated Tool Previously, applicants could only view average processing times by program (for example, Express Entry, PNP, or citizenship). The new functionality now allows individuals to input their actual application date and see where their file sits in the queue.
