DK Total Home Solutions has been providing quality renovation and home building services since 2000. We are located in Foothills, AB with projects throughout Southern Alberta.

We are looking for a day shift General Laborer for our job-sites and shop. Must have a clean driver's abstract, access to a working vehicle, and steel toed boots are required!

Reporting to the foreman, the General Labourer is responsible for providing physical labour support during all phases of construction and production, right until completion. The Labourer provides a broad range of support in areas such as hand work, moving materials, cleaning terrain, site preparation, sweeping and shoveling and basic equipment operation

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the crew and completing specific tasks around the job-site and shop -- reporting to the General Foreman.

Job Summary:

- Complete daily tasks set out at the forefront

- Assist yard crew loading and unloading trailers

- Assist machine operators

- Machine maintenance

- Shop and job-site clean up

- Assisting subcontractors when required

- Follow assigned work tasks and promote a productive workplace

- Ensure clean and organized work environment

- Maintain a strong safety attitude

- Follow all company policies and procedures

- Willing to learn the ways of the relevant building processes

- Lead by example and strive to succeed in the role

- Ample opportunity for career advancement

Working Conditions:

- Shop, located in Foothills, AB and job-sites around Calgary

- Outside/inside work

- Physically demanding position

- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs, work at heights, be agile and able to go on/off equipment, up/down ladders

- Basic construction experience is preferred

- General understanding of power tools and equipment
