Had a bigger break than expected but back with 'What does a gallery owner have in their own home?" I must say I have mostly paintings in my home, but this particular piece by I fell in love with cause it takes me right back to a little cafe in Florence I used to frequent with lots of wonderful memories. Has a prominent spot in my kitchen above my wine case. 🇨🇦

Next Edition: Years ago I was walking along the Seine in Paris after having lunch with a friend and we may or may not of had a glass of wine or two 🤭 and I spotted this print in one of the bouquinistes boxes. She was so inexpensive, around 25 Francs (showing my age as it was before the Euro) and I've always thought of her as Josephine Baker but the piece is called 'la pluie' 'The Rain' and with this wonderful framing, it has a proud place in my kitchen!

Episode 4! What does an Art gallery owner have in their own home? This is a piece from one of our gallery artists Denis Chiasson that I bought from John Webster when I took over. My oldest Son loved it so much he kept trying to sneak it down to his bedroom so I finally commissioned Denis to do one for Declan for his Graduation/18th birthday. 🇨🇦

March 8th 2026. 115th Annual International Women's Day. We have incredible artists here but there ladies are Fire 🔥 Plus these are just a few of them! Next edition!! Based on the Surrealist Belgian Artist Rene Magritte 'The Son of Man'. This print 'Son of Man's Best Friend' amused me so much I had to buy it being a dog lover/owner. Although the print itself didn't cost much, I made up for it on the framing lol. But I still smile every time I look at it and I look at it al lot!!

Part 2: What do gallery owners have in their own homes? These Dali tiles are truly unique and I treasure them! Framed 30+ yrs ago, long before I even dreamt of owning an art and framing gallery and I still love the job they did. Hope you enjoy!
