Scott (Grande Prairie), along with Jean (Calgary) and Alvin (President of Squash Alberta), recently met with Ricardo Miller, GIS Spatial Planner in Montego Bay, Jamaica. During the visit, the team delivered two large suitcases filled with regular clothing and sports apparel to help support households affected by the recent Hurricane Melissa.

This initiative reflects Squash Alberta's continued commitment to community support and international friendship. We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute and to work alongside local leaders like Ricardo, who are dedicated to helping families recover and rebuild.

Team Alberta claimed the GOLD MEDAL at the 2026 Canadian Masters Teams Championships in Montreal for the first time in seventeen years. After 3 consecutive years of finishing third behind Ontario and Quebec this marks a historic and unforgettable achievement for Team Alberta. The tournament was one the team will remember for years to come, both for the results on court and the camaraderie built throughout the week.

2026 Junior Provincials Info and Registration

Due to the tourney schedule in April 2026 with Nationals and the Ontario Junior Open packed in around the original date for our 2026 Junior Provincials Championships- The Squash Alberta Junior Committee recommended at date change for the 2026 Junior Provincials. Thank you to Ross Pretorius and The Royal Glenora for graciously agreeing to host the event the weekend of Feb 20-21, 2026 to allow us to take the time and travel pressure off our players/parents in March/April 2026. Our apologies for the change. Hopefully we have allowed enough time for everyone to plan accordingly.

We look forward to seeing everyone at the RG in Feb 2026. Happy Holidays and all the Best to everyone in 2026.

Cheers!
