I have created this page to bring hope and support to parents and students diagnosed with Learning Disabilities.
These neurological disorders can affect brain’s ability in many ways such as receiving information, processing, storing, and retrieving information. As parents and teachers, we can only see the symptoms that can be difficulties in reading, writing, and spelling (Dyslexia), difficulty in math skills (Dyscalculia), difficulty in handwriting and expressing ideas on paper (Dysgraphia), and difficulty with fine motor skills (Dyspraxia). Sometimes you see that the child is having difficulty in differentiating letters h and n, can have problem concentrating and can be distracted (ADHD) very easily.
The list is long, but I would like to encourage parents to educate themselves and find a solution to help their child to use their ABILITIES and forget about their disabilities. Today we have alternate ways of learning, scientifically proven programs that can help a child to overcome and deal with these disabilities.
