We sell vintage comic books at collector prices. Our booth is located in Inside Avenue Antqiues. We are not currently offering shipping.
To buy the comics, come to the booth or see us at comic and pop culture conventions throughout Alberta.
Final prep for opening the new shop is under way. The bins will be at about 90% capacity but the wall books are full. We’ve got a couple new collections to process so we’re leaving room for some fun new books.
We’ll be open for business on Wednesday, June 3rd from 10am to 5pm. We’ll be updating our website and Google with the new address before we open. We’re not ready for random visitors.
We’re still restocking the booth at Inside Avenue while we get the new shop ready for customers next week.
We brought in a bunch of Amazing Spider-man, Star Wars, Uncanny X-Men and a whole lot more.
We’ll have the booth until the end of June so help us clean it out by buying some comics!

It’s crunch time for getting the new shop open so this week’s restock at Inside Avenue Antiques was a bit rushed. Still lots of great books added to the booth this week.
We’ve got Amazing Spider-Man, Batman, Secret Wars, Punisher, Spawn, Star Wars, Uncanny and regular X-Men. Lots of minor key issues and other fun stuff.

A few of the Marvel Graphic Novels we’ll have available in June when the new shop opens. Some I’ve seen and a few we’ve never had in stock before.
I was a little surprised by what Conan: The Rogue goes for.
Progress is being made on the new shop. Security system is in so we’ve started moving in stock. Still a few gaps in the walls for some original art. Empty shelves for toys. The wall books are going to be great but they’re going up last.

This week’s restock is another random assortment of bronze and modern comics.
We’ve got Amazing Spider-Man, Batman, Conan, Daredevil, John Byrne Fantastic Four, Silver Surfer, a big run of later Usagi Yojimbo, Wolverine and a bunch of Dark Horse Star Wars. As usual, lots of odds and ends in between.
You might have noticed the lack of big books in recent weeks but don’t worry, we’ve been buying a lot and will have some big, big books when the store opens.

We’re still buying collections while getting ready to open the new shop. We picked up 10 long boxes of early 2000s Marvel and there weren’t too many keys missing.
These will be available when the shop opens in June.

Between building out the shop and waiting for trades to show up, I’ve been pricing some fun books we’ll have available in June when we open.
Here’s a couple we don’t see too often. Fin Fang Foom’s first appearance and the prototype for Dr. Doom.
Lee, Kirby and Ditko. Awesome.

We’ve got Amazing Spider-Man, Batman, Angela, Earth X, Liberty Meadows, a whole bunch of King Spawn 1 variants, Neon Genesis Evangelion, later issues of Marvel’s Transformers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. As usual, lots of odds and ends in between.
