Penny and I had fun seeing our friends today.

Merry Christmas!
Today is a beautiful reminder to be with the ones we love. Especially our parents and seniors, who often carry so many memories during the holidays. If you can, call them, visit them, or simply remind them they are not forgotten. Those moments matter more than we realize. Sending love to all.

After selling his tech company, Canadian millionaire Marcel LeBrun decided to turn his success into something far more meaningful. He invested $4 million of his own money to create 99 fully equipped tiny homes for people experiencing homelessness in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

These aren’t temporary shelters — they’re permanent, dignified homes complete with full kitchens, bathrooms, heating, and even solar panels. The goal: provide stability, independence, and a real foundation for rebuilding a life.

The project, called 12 Neighbours Community, is much more than housing. It also features:

• A community coffee shop
• A teaching kitchen for hands-on skill development
• Resident-led small businesses and workshops
• Support services to help people move toward long-term stability

LeBrun’s mission is simple but transformative: restore dignity, create opportunity, and change lives — one tiny home at a time.

This isn’t just an act of generosity — it’s a model for how communities can uplift their most vulnerable through compassion, innovation, and sustainable design.

I took my friend R for a straight shave and a haircut today. We followed it up with a coffee and a chat. R looked so handsome with his new haircut!
