Decades Collide

Some places become part of who we are. 🤎

The mountains. The roads. The memories. The place that still feels like home, no matter how far life takes you.

That’s what Decades Collide was created to represent.

Handcrafted wood wall art inspired by the places we belong to and the stories we carry with us.

Crafted. For the places you call home.

What place will always feel like home to you?

Three places. One love story. 🩷

When Rose ordered these three pieces, I didn’t realize just how much I was going to love the story behind them.

She’s from British Columbia.
He’s from Manitoba.
And their love story began in Alberta.

Sound familiar? 🥹

It’s the same story as Ash and me 🩷
which made creating these pieces feel a little extra special.

Rose is putting all three together in their crafting and gaming room, and what I loved most was how excited she was knowing they wouldn’t simply fill a wall. They would tell their story.

Where they came from.
Where they found each other.
And a little piece of the life they’ve built together.

This is why I love what we create at Decades Collide. Wood is beautiful. Craftsmanship matters. But the meaning behind each piece? That’s the part I’ll never get tired of.

Rose, thank you for trusting us with a little piece of your story. You were such a joy to create for. 🩷

I say it often, but I truly mean it, I feel incredibly blessed by the people who choose to support this little business of ours.

Crafted. For the places you call home.

Your walls should tell a story. 🤎

Not everything in your home needs to match.
It just needs to mean something.

A photograph from a favourite season.
Something passed down.
A piece picked up on a trip.
And the shape of a place that feels like home.

That’s exactly where I picture our Montana piece, mixed into the things you’ve collected over a lifetime.

Handcrafted from solid wood and finished in our rich espresso stain, this Montana piece was made to feel less like décor….. and more like it has always belonged there.

Crafted. For the places you call home.

BELONGING.

Funny how one word can hold so much.

It can be the place you were born.
The place you chose.
The place you raised your family.
The place you left, but somehow never really left behind.

Home isn’t always an address.

Sometimes it’s a landscape.
A memory.
A story.
A piece of somewhere that still feels like yours.

That’s what we hope to create at Decades Collide.

Not simply something beautiful to hang on your wall.

A reminder of the places you call home.

Crafted. For the places you call home.

Christmas always feels far away… until suddenly it isn’t. 😉
If Decades Collide is on your corporate gifting list this year, now is the time to get your order started.

Crafted. For the places you call home.

Your walls should tell your story.

I love a beautiful gallery wall, collected pieces, old photographs, landscapes, artwork you’ve found over the years…..

And then one piece that says, this is home.

That’s exactly how I picture our Decades Collide state and province pieces being used.

They don’t have to stand alone to make a statement. Tucked into a thoughtfully collected wall like this, they become part of the story, a place you’ve lived, a place you love, a place that shaped you, or maybe the place you’re building your next chapter.

This Arizona piece is shown at 22” tall, finished in our rich espresso stain, and I absolutely love how it grounds the entire collection.

Because home isn’t always one place.

Sometimes it’s all the places that became part of you. 🤎

Crafted. For the places you call home.

Some pieces decorate a room. Others tell you who lives there.

I love the idea of a Decades Collide piece being mixed into a wall of things collected over a lifetime, photographs, art, places you’ve travelled, things you inherited, things you simply fell in love with.

And somewhere among all of it is Texas.

Maybe it’s where you were born.
Maybe it’s where you raised your family.
Maybe you left years ago and still call it home.

That’s what I want these pieces to be.

Not just the shape of a state on a wall.

A little piece of where you belong. ❤️

Crafted from solid hardwood and finished to let the natural grain tell its own story.

Crafted. For the places you call home.

Some gifts say congratulations.

Others tell the story of what you built. 🤎

The years you showed up.
The people you worked beside.
The community you served.
The career you built.
The place that became part of your story.

That’s what inspired our Legacy Collection.

Each piece is handcrafted from hardwood and made to represent a place that means something, a province, a state, a hometown, a chapter of life.

And for an added personal touch, our Legacy Collection Signature pieces can include a message engraved on the back, creating something that can be kept long after the retirement party, farewell dinner or milestone celebration is over.

Because after 20, 30 or 40 years……

A gift should feel like more than a gift.

It should feel like a piece of the story.

🤎 IT’S LIVE 🤎

And somehow, it feels like I’m launching a business all over again.

Decades Collide has officially entered a new chapter, and I don’t think I’ve been this excited about where we’re headed in a very long time.

Almost 10 years ago, this business started with an idea, some wood, a whole lot of learning as we went 😂, and absolutely no idea where it would take us.

Since then, you have invited our pieces into your homes. You’ve trusted us with wedding gifts, retirement gifts, corporate gifts and some of life’s biggest milestones. You’ve shared our work, recommended us, ordered again and again, and supported this little Canadian business in ways I will never take for granted.

And because of YOU, we’re still here nearly a decade later. 🤎

Today feels like a fresh start.

A new website.
A new collection.
A new direction.
The same craftsmanship and heart that built Decades Collide in the first place.

I am incredibly proud to introduce the next evolution of Decades Collide handcrafted pieces inspired by the places that shape us, the places we’re proud of, and the places we call home.

Crafted. For the places you call home.

To every single person who has supported us over the last 10 years: thank you. Truly.

I feel incredibly blessed to get to do this and even more blessed that so many of you have been along for the ride.

Here’s to the next 10 years. 🥂🤎

I cannot WAIT to see where they take us.

The new Decades Collide is officially LIVE.

Come see what we’ve been working on. 🤎

Tomorrow feels like a pretty big day around here. 🤎

Over the past few months, Decades Collide has been quietly becoming something new.

What started years ago around our kitchen table has grown, changed and evolved right alongside us.

And tomorrow, you’ll finally get to see the next chapter.

A new website.
A refined new look.
And a much clearer vision for what Decades Collide has always really been about:

The places that become part of who we are.

Where you were born.
Where you were raised.
Where you built your life.
Where you found your people.
Where you call home.

Handcrafted in solid hardwood and made to hold a piece of that story.

Legacy. Pride. Home.

Tomorrow. 🤎
