A dance theatre production bringing together popular dance genres with roots in the diverse continent of Africa. This show celebrates the history and influence of African culture on modern dances.

Take a journey with a diverse, all-Calgary team of dancers and actors featuring Afro-Caribbean, Afro-Cuban, Hip Hop, Step, and Tap Dance. Explore the roots of these genres through an interstellar love story woven together to educate, stimulate, and inspire audiences! Two performances available, with a free cultural fair in between that, is open to the public.

Artists, Vendors, not-for-profit community associations, and Black History Month exhibits will be on-site at our FREE Cultural Fair in the Studio of the venue from 3:30pm to 6:30pm. There will be art and products on sale.

Networking Tips

Talk to people, you never know who will have a talent or connection to guide you to your next contract or client.

Be nice to your newly met contact- Offer advice, connections or help.

Never overextend your time with a newly met contact except of course they want you to.
Leave after 10minutes or less, put out your hand and say” it was so nice to meet you. Good luck with your (.........). Happy Holiday.
Shake hands Or introduce them to someone else.

Tips for networking this season. .

It is that time of the year again with lots of events and networking cocktails for work and business.

Attend only networking events that aligned with your objectives and that can make you connect with new people for friendship, career or business.

Mingle, Mingle Mingle.
Ask "May I join you?" Introduce yourself and shake hands.
Find common interest to talk about. People love to talk about themselves. Listen and give them the chance to speak. .
