Owen Bromley Drives In Four As Calgary Expos Wins Over Davisburg Sodbusters
Owen Bromley would not be denied at the plate when runners were on base on Wednesday, driving in four on three hits to lead the Expos past Davisburg 13-10 on Wednesday. Bromley drove in runs on a single in the first, a single in the fifth, and a double in the seventh.
The Calgary Expos collected 14 hits and the Davisburg Sodbusters had five in the high-scoring affair.
Davisburg opened up scoring in the second inning, then
evened things up at five in the bottom of the fourth inning. Rogi grounded out, scoring one run.
The Calgary Expos took the lead for good with four runs in the fifth inning. In the fifth Rove Mitenko singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run, Bromley singled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs, and Karstan Simmet-Iverson doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.
Bromley led things off on the mound for the Expos. The pitcher went two innings, allowing four runs on three hits and striking out three.
Crakel led things off on the pitcher's mound for Davisburg. The bulldog lasted two innings, allowing five hits and two runs while walking one. Hillstad threw five innings out of the bullpen.
The Expos totaled 14 hits. Bromley, Mitenko, James Wreford, and Karstan Simmet-Iverson all had multiple hits for the Expos. Mitenko and Bromley each collected three hits to lead the Expos.
The Expos tore up the base paths, as five players stole at least two bases. Bromley led the way with three.
Archer led Davisburg with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with eight stolen bases.

Calgary Expos Defeat Red Deer Braves Despite Allowing 4-Run Inning
The Calgary Expos claimed a 17-7 victory on Sunday, despite a big push by Red Deer Braves in the fifth inning. Red Deer Braves big bats were led by #11, #74, and #32, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.
Both offenses were strong at the plate as the Calgary Expos collected 17 hits and Red Deer Braves four in the high-scoring affair
The Calgary Expos notched seven runs in the fourth inning. Owen Bromley, Jeff Stewart, and Ethan Aspeslet-Asels each had RBIs in the frame.
Karstan Simmet-Iverson toed the rubber for the Calgary Expos. The righty surrendered three runs on two hits over four innings, striking out two.
#32 started the game for Red Deer Braves. undefined surrendered eight runs on eight hits over two and a third innings, striking out two. #11, #74, and #76 each contributed in relief for the Red Deer Braves.
The Calgary Expos totaled 17 hits. Kyle Wilde, Joseph Ell, Aspeslet-Asels, Bromley, Stewart, Ian Shay, and Karstan Simmet-Iverson all collected multiple hits for the Expos.
Karstan Simmet-Iverson, Shay, Stewart, Bromley, Aspeslet-Asels, Ell, and Wilde each managed two hits to lead the Expos.
The Calgary Expos tore up the base paths, as five players stole at least two bases. Aspeslet-Asels led the way with three.
Red Deer Braves scattered four hits in the game. #74 and #32 each collected multiple hits for Red Deer Braves. #74 led Red Deer Braves with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with five stolen bases.

Late Score Costs Calgary Expos Against Calgary Cardinals
Calgary Expos lost the lead late in an 11-4 defeat to Calgary Cardinals on Sunday. The game was tied at three with the Calgary Cardinals batting in the bottom of the fifth when Ashton Kostiuk doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.
The Expos struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Calgary Cardinals, giving up 11 runs.
The Calgary Cardinals fired up the offense in the first inning. Caleum Eastman grounded out, scoring one run.
In the top of the fourth inning, the Expos tied things up at three. The Expos scored one run when Jeff Stewart singled.
Brady Johansen led things off on the hill for the Calgary Cardinals. The bulldog surrendered three runs on seven hits over four innings, striking out three.
Ethan Aspeslet-Asels led things off on the pitcher's mound for the Expos. The pitcher lasted four and a third innings, allowing five hits and nine runs while striking out three. Karstan Simmet-Iverson and Bennett Perrin entered the game from the bullpen, throwing one and one-third innings and one-third of an inning respectively.
Kyle Wilde, Karstan Simmet-Iverson, Ian Shay, James Wreford, Stewart, Owen Bromley, Aspeslet-Asels, and Joseph Ell all had one hit to lead the Calgary Expos.
Colby Tanton led the Calgary Cardinals with three hits in three at bats. The Calgary Cardinals stole ten bases during the game as three players stole more than one. Tanton led the way with three.

Ethan Aspeslet-Asels Drives In Four To Seal Calgary Expos Victory Over Sylvan Lake Mariners
Ethan Aspeslet-Asels came the ballpark and meant business on Saturday, driving in four on three hits to lead the Calgary Expos past Sylvan Lake Mariners 15-3 on Saturday. Aspeslet-Asels drove in runs on a single in the fourth, a single in the fourth, and a single in the fifth.
Calgary Expos secured the victory thanks to nine runs in the fourth inning. The offensive onslaught by Expos was led by Aspeslet-Asels, Jacob Hansen, Ian Shay, Rove Mitenko, Bennett Perrin, and Karstan Simmet-Iverson, who each had RBIs in the inning.
Calgary Expos got things started in the first inning when Perrin singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.
The Expos tallied nine runs in the fourth inning. The big inning was thanks to singles by Aspeslet-Asels, Shay, Mitenko, Perrin, and Owen Bromley, a walk by Hansen, and an error on a ball put in play by Karstan Simmet-Iverson
Joseph Ell led things off on the mound for the Expos. Ell lasted four innings, allowing three hits and three runs while striking out six.

Calgary Expos Goes Down On Final Play Against Edmonton Angels
It came down to the last play, but Expos was on the wrong end of a 7-6 defeat to Edmonton Angels on Saturday. The game was tied at six with Edmonton Angels batting in the bottom of the seventh inning.
Despite the loss, Expos did collect five hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Edmonton Angels had eight hits on the way to victory.
In the first inning, Edmonton Angels got their offense started. #13 doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.
Edmonton Angels evened things up at six in the bottom of the sixth inning. #15 grounded out, scoring one run.
Expos tallied three runs in the second inning. Expos big inning was driven by a single by Ian Shay and an error on a ball put in play by James Wreford.
#3 was on the mound for Edmonton Angels. The pitcher allowed four hits and six runs over six innings, striking out five.
Wreford was on the hill for the Expos. The righthander surrendered six runs on eight hits over five innings, striking out four and walking one. Joseph Ell threw one and two-thirds innings in relief.
Wreford, Shay, Kyle Wilde, Jacob Hansen, and Ethan Aspeslet-Asels each collected one hit to lead Expos. Aspeslet-Asels led Expos with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with six stolen bases.
Edmonton Angels scattered eight hits in the game. #3, #29, and #6 all managed multiple hits for Edmonton Angels.

Back at it today @ 12pm & 6pm after a tough loss last night vs Calgary Bucks Baseball Club
Unfortunately our games were canceled today due to air quality.
Sunday! Come out to St. Brigid diamond and watch some ⚾ as we welcome the Lethbridge Lakers and the Highway 21 Heat!
