TOASTies at Sunflicker 2025...

We finished up the round robin with a nice 15-9 win against Torontosaurus Rex. Next up is the bronze medal game vs Relics. We had a very tough game against them yesterday so we're going into it knowing we have nothing to lose. We're going to give it all we've got!

Well that game didn't go quite to plan but despite the score it was amazing to play anyway. Japan GGM came out on a mission to beat us and severely shortened their bench to do so. It was back and forth all game but they got the right breaks at the right times to pull out the win. Best game of the week to play by far.

That was a great team win after a very slow start. Every line started doing all the right things and working progressively harder. And the best news is that we only had 1 game today so now we get to go to the beach!

Another unfortunate loss, but it was against a great team that played very well. We will get back to work tomorrow!

We made that one a little harder on ourselves than we needed to but we did manage to pull off a gritty win vs SOUP. Halfway through the round robin and staying strong.

Progress doesn't always go in a straight line. We ran into a brick wall of hex offence and some very fast defence from Surly. We learned a lot and we will be better prepared for the next game!

Took down the win in a very tight game against Korea this morning. Smooth O and an amazing break by the D line to finish the game. Rolling...
