It was an honour to speak at the UCPBA's AGM and to receive the Outstanding Service Award. Thank you to the members and the board of the UCPBA.

On June, 23 UCC Calgary joined UCPBA Calgary (Ukrainian Canadian Professional Business Association) for their Annual General Meeting.

It was very encouraging to hear UCPBA President's Eric Dobrovolski report and his vision for another year. Thank you, UCPBA Calgary, for serving Ukrainian Community through fundings, grants, educational events and partnership in the projects.

It was also a privilage to hear Tyler Shandro sharing about his family ancestors and the impact they've done, when came to Canada. Thank you for continuing that legacy and advocating for Ukrainian community now.

Special atmosphere at the event was created by HUP (Гурт Української Пісні). Thank you for making traditional Ukrainian songs sound so powerful!

We are looking forward to even greater collaborations with UCPBA Calgary in coming years.

Thank you to my friend, Rabbi Matusof who, as the head of the Chabad Alberta, has devoted himself to Jewish flourishing.

And I look forward to standing with him and the Jewish community tonight at City Hall, as they build Jewish pride in the public square, especially now during the Chanukah holiday. And especially this year after the horrific act of terrorism and hate in Bondi Beach.
