Spark & Flourish: A Fresh Take on Aging
This culminating session of Power Within Wellness Series focuses on joy, purpose, and meaningful connection. Participants explore brain health, stress management, and practical ways to rediscover fulfillment through relationships, hobbies, and community engagement.
Guided by the belief that purpose never retires, this session invites participants to reflect more deeply on the evolving roles they hold throughout life. As we move through different stages, our roles may change—but our value and capacity to contribute remain constant.
Inspired by the idea that “growing older does not mean growing invisible,” this experience encourages participants to reframe aging as a time of continued growth and possibility. Through reflective and interactive activities, they are empowered to revisit their personal stories, embrace their strengths, and envision new ways to live with intention.
To support this reflective journey, participants may opt to use a personal journal, scrapbook or digital tools for a creative and meaningful way to capture insights, memories, and future aspirations.. Since this event will be held at the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary, we encourage participants to wear runners and comfortable clothing as the activities will include walking around the Bird Sanctuary. Be prepared for the Calgary weather, jackets or hoodies would be great to have.
