The Lead By Example powwow is scheduled to take place in two weeks at Chestermere on July 8, 2026 and I am pleased to offer photographers and media personnel the chance to cover this outstanding event. The opportunity includes access to the powwow, exclusive interviews with dancers, participation in intertribals, and utilization of the media tent, among other benefits. While there is a participation fee, attendees will be well catered for. This event is also an excellent platform to gain insight into the protocols surrounding photography at powwows and similar events as well learn how we are all working at being a good Neighbor by ‘Leading by Example’. If interested, please direct message me for more information. Here is the link to find out more about the Powwow https://leadbyexamplepowwow.ca/

I loved every minute from hearing their personal journey to learning the different shooting styles - each photographer brings in their own unique experience. Setting the scene and for the staff of thank you with my whole heart, Anita Crowshoe and Candice Ward thank you for making this reality ❤️
From my big hiking backpack that I usually pack around, I am super stoked to have won this sling bag in the class raffle. Truly makes attending events so much easier. Our gift bags were fill with so many awesome camera accessories truly blessed and thankful.
