We are the Internal Attention Lab at the University of Calgary.

We are recruiting participants for a study which examines the thoughts and emotions of youth with ADHD, ASD, and/or OCD.
You will be asked to attend an in person-session up to 2.5 hours, and answer short surveys sent to you several times a day for a period of 14 days via mobile app.
You are eligible to participate in the study if you are able to read, write and speak English, are age 15-24, live in or around Calgary, AB, have a diagnosis of ADHD, ASD, and/or OCD, and have a smartphone with network access.

You will be asked to attend an 30 minute online Zoom session and answer short surveys sent to you several times a day for a period of 10 days via mobile app.

We are recruiting participants for a study which examines the relationship between individuals’ thoughts, experiences, and emotions.
You will come into the lab at the University of Calgary and complete some tasks on the computer while wearing an EEG cap that allows us to collect information on your brain activity. We will measure your heart rate using EKG during the tasks. You will also be asked to fill out surveys regarding your current emotions.
You are eligible to participate in the study if you are age 18-35, are able to read, write and speak English, are free of neurological disorders (e.g. traumatic brain injury), and have normal range vision (with or without corrective lens).
The University of Calgary Conjoint Faculties Research Ethics Board has approved this research study (REB24-1265).

We are recruiting participants for a study which examines the relationship between individuals’ thoughts, experiences, and emotions. You will be asked to answer short surveys (that take 1-2 minutes to complete) sent to you several times a day for a period of 7-14 days via email/text message.
You are eligible to participate in the study if you are able to read, write and speak English, are age 18-65, and have a mobile phone with a Canadian phone number.

We are recruiting participants for an online study which further examines the relationship between mind-wandering and emotional well-being.

We are recruiting participants for a longitudinal study which examines the relationship between emotion regulation and well-being. This study requires you to complete several assessments, participate in a Zoom session and take part in 2 weeks of brief exercises. You are eligible to participate if you are able to read, write and speak English, are located in North America, and are between 17-50 years old. You will also need access to both a computer and smartphone with data. The University of Calgary Conjoint Faculties Research Ethics Board has approved this research study (REB21-1856). You will receive between $50-90 CAD in Amazon gift cards depending on group assignment and you may be entered in additional lotteries of $100.
