Calgary’s market remained remarkably steady this May, with the average home price reaching $573,000. While prices were down 1.7% compared to last year, Calgary continues to outperform many major Canadian markets when it comes to affordability, demand, and long-term growth potential. πŸ‘πŸ“ˆ As buyers continue searching for value in a challenging housing landscape, YYC remains one of the country's most attractive destinations for homeownership.

Edmonton posted an average price of $425,200, down 1.6% year-over-year. While both Alberta cities saw slight adjustments, Calgary continues to stand out thanks to its strong economy, population growth, and balanced market conditions. πŸ“βœ¨

Across Canada, market activity remained mixed. Montreal recorded a 2.5% increase, Winnipeg gained 3.8%, and Victoria held virtually unchanged with a slight 0.1% increase. Meanwhile, larger and traditionally more expensive markets continued to face pressure, with Vancouver down 6.2%, Toronto down 6.6%, Hamilton declining 5.4%, and Kitchener falling 6.5%. πŸ“‰
