When the clouds roll in and the world turns white and grey, it feels quieter.

Fewer crowds, softer light, and mountains that feel even more powerful in the mist.

Explore Johnston Canyon – A Family-Friendly Gem in Banff! 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒

Looking for an easy and scenic hike that’s great for the whole family? Johnston Canyon is one of Banff National Park’s most popular trails and for good reason! The trail is well-paved and winds through a dramatic limestone canyon, complete with catwalks that let you walk right above the rushing creek.

Along the way, you’ll pass mossy cliffs, narrow gorges, and two stunning waterfalls, Lower Falls and Upper Falls. The hike to the Lower Falls is just over 1 km (about 20 minutes), while the Upper Falls are about 2.5 km in. Each offering incredible views worth stopping for. Kids will love the short tunnel to view the Lower Falls up close, and adults will appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and natural beauty at every turn.

Whether you’re a local or visiting Banff for the first time, Johnston Canyon is the perfect adventure. Easy, accessible, and unforgettable! 🥾

The breathtaking beauty of Moraine Lake is simply magical✨

The bright blue water, the Valley of the Ten Peaks, and the peaceful walking trails make Moraine Lake a must-see when you visit Banff National Park. Whether you’re hiking the trails or simply taking in the stunning views, Moraine Lake is an experience you won’t forget. The calm water and peaceful surroundings make it the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature’s beauty. 🏔💙

💵 Fun fact: This exact view from the Rockpile Trail was featured on the back of Canada’s $20 bill from 1969 to 1979. It became one of the most iconic images in Canadian currency history and when you see it in person, you’ll understand why.

☀ Catch it while you can !! Summer doesn’t last forever. Access is limited, so be sure to plan ahead with our tour to make the most of your visit!

Castle Mountain stands tall in the background, with the Bow River quietly flowing below. It honestly looks like something straight out of a travel brochure — or maybe a scene from Lord of the Rings 🏰🌲

No big hike, no gear needed, just a chill bus tour and a quick stop with a view that’ll stay with you. Not every adventure needs to be a trek. Sometimes the best moments are the easiest to reach. 💙💙

Don’t skip this spot in Banff. It’s magic!!
