Two wheel sunday is tomorrow!
Tomorrow is the the day. Two Wheel Sunday returns and it's going to be a beautiful day. Gates open at 10am, 5th Street and 46th Ave, NE (Greenview Industrial). More than 90 vendors and displays as well as food trucks. Family friendly; motorcycles only on site; other parking nearby. See you there.

Interesting!
For each lap on the Le Mans circuit, the riders use their brakes 9 times for a total 29 seconds, the equivalent of 32% of the entire Grand Prix. However, they are not used uniformly because the brakes are used just 2 times on the first 5 turns and never for more than 3 seconds each time. From turn 6 to turn 9, on the other hand, they are always in use and for extended periods, from 3.3 seconds to 4.9 seconds on each turn.

Police investigate fatal collision in the southeast
Our Traffic Section continues to investigate a single-vehicle collision that has resulted in the death of a man.
Yesterday, Saturday, April 15, 2023, at approximately 3:20 p.m., we responded to reports of a serious-injury collision in the southbound lanes of Stoney Trail S.E. on the approach to the interchange with Glenmore Trail S.E.
It is believed that a motorcycle, being driven by a man in his 50s, was travelling southbound in the median lane when the driver crossed the median fog line and ultimately struck a post of the cable barrier on the median. The driver was then thrown from his motorcycle.
The man suffered serious injuries and was transported to hospital by EMS. Sadly, the man succumbed to his injuries and was later pronounced deceased.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation. At this time, excessive speed and impairment are not believed to be factors.
The Calgary Police Service Traffic Section continues to investigate this incident. Anyone who may have information or dashcam footage is asked to contact police at the non-emergency number at 403-266-1234. Tips can be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers through either of the following methods:
