Calgary! This Wednesday the band and I will be performing as part of CBC The Homestretch’s Jam for the Calgary Food Bank. The show will be broadcast live from the King Eddy 3-6pm. Drop by with a Food Bank donation to catch us along with other musical guests in-person, or tune in to CBC Radio One 99.1 FM and help us support an important cause this holiday season.

Grateful to have been recognized with Blues Recording of the Year for my album “From The Start” last weekend at the YYC Music Awards in Calgary.

Being born and raised in this city, it means a lot to have my music received so well here at home. The support I’ve seen from this community over the years as I’ve come up has truly been a blessing.

Releasing an album is no small task, it takes a team, and I owe a lot of gratitude to all who contributed to this project. It wouldn’t have been possible without those listed below who helped bring my vision to life.

Canadian singer‑guitarist Marcus Trummer, hailing from Calgary, Alberta, made his impressive debut in 2024 with his album, "From The Start." Trummer blends blues, soul, R&B, and roots rock into a sound that’s both timeless and fresh.

Trummer performed in the United States for just the second time at Playing With Fire Concert - Omaha, and is an artist to watch on the modern blues rock scene.

6 months ago my debut album “From The Start” came out.

It’s been incredible to see all the support for this record so far. My goal has always been to make music that is authentic to who I am and create from a place of truth. This album was the culmination of a hard season of change and growth in my life. I’m proud of the moment in time I believe it captures in an honest way and I’m even more excited for the future, knowing that I’ve grown so much more since these songs were written.

It’s exciting to see my music make an impact with so many of you. But to know that my songs are connecting with even just one person makes it all worth it. I’m grateful every day that I get to do this and I thank you all for being a part of my journey. More to come soon. The story continues…
