โA good sales rep understands their customerโs business at a high level.
โA great sales rep understands the intimate details of the customers, including the industry, their challenges, their competitors, the business process, etc.
โA good sales rep sells an idea.
โA great sales rep sells a vision. They identify the challenge in the industry and how it can be solved with their product and service.
โA good sales rep sees themselves as just a salesperson of that product.
