We designed this Modern beauty to take in the mountain views and manage the Summer sun. The roof overhang at the kitchen cantilevers 9'. Those are strong trusses for the mountain winter snow loads.

I visited an old friend last night. I designed the railings as the Public Art component of this pedestrian overpass on Stony Trail in Calgary. The undulating pattern of the railings loves this dramatic lighting.

We are pretty proud of the houses we design, but you cannot beat a proper beach house.

It was a joy to work in this family retreat. This home replaces a rundown cabin that has been in the family for decades. Good times for a good family.

We are using big steel to hold up the Douglas Fir entry. One the siding is on, the steel and timber will be nicely emphasized.

The roof is finished and the windows are going in. The location of this house is so great. The views go on forever.

North Shore Builders is doing a great job on this home on the water with views across the lake to Nelson. A solar study helped develop the deck roof overhangs to manage that summer sun. .interiors

This lakeside getaway will replace the old cabin the client has had for almost 40 years. It is on the same road where he grew up. The covered timber deck will help manage that summer sun.

Snow day. This is the first winter for this home in the Koots. What a great place to hunker down.

It was great to check in on this project today in Krestova. The view from the living room is spectacular. Timber and steel details will include an inverted king post truss with steel tension rods.
