Foxbody Friday!

And this one hits home! Shoutout to our very own .84 on his killer 4 eye ttop foxbody!

I hired Jacob in high school in the summer of 2022, working at the shop through school with building credits to graduate, I have personally along with our team of great journeyman mechanics helped teach Jacob to become not only an outstanding tech, but a great young man, to say I’m proud of him and how far he’s come in his time at On Point would be an understatement.

August 8th 2024 me and Jacob drove to red deer to pick this car up, shiny black ttop foxbody was a easy sell, unfortunately that’s about all that was nice with it, the rest of the car sucked.

In 22 months! Jacob has rebuilt this entire car front to back, I mean everything but the sheet metal, he’s sank every dollar and minute of his time into this thing and I’m stoked how it turned out.

Tired 302 had to go to make way for a brand new 427” SBF pump gas hydraulic motor spec’d in house, hooked us up with a block, heads and intake manifold. this thing sounds nasty yet has good street manors. It was built with the intention of getting some nitrous after it gets more chassis support.

Behind that is a close ratio 26 spline TKX 5 speed manual with a clutch

Attaching the new fully built 8.8 is a aluminum driveshaft to get the power down, 31 spline axles, eaton posi and 3:73 gears.

Out front that big Windsor is sitting on a tubular k member, an arms and coilovers.

, and help shed weight and keep this thing planted.

We removed, cleaned and sumped the factory tank for a clean install, while maintaining factory fuel filler and gas gauge.

Proud is an understatement of this young man and this car. Watch for this thing coming out in the future stick shift racing representing On Point/CBR!

As far as stock style suspension goes this is top of the line stuff with almost infinite adjustability for slicks or radials.

Mick knocked out new turbo kit after we lowered the engine in the chassis to help keep 4 tires on the ground, I’d say this is the best version yet! That sitting front and center ducted into the bumper. New turbo headers with EGT bungs installed.
