REAL TALK
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
IG often gives us the impression that everything is always cute & glamourous, and I am here to remind you IT IS NOT.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I for one, am super overwhelmed and experiencing some burn out.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Sometimes I love creating content and showing up everyday for my clients, audience and business, and sometimes THE STRUGGLE IS REAL.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here's how I'm handling it:
- Sharing the struggle because I know I'm not alone!
- Being grateful for the overwhelm, because it is the abundance I asked for
- Giving myself grace because the only one setting expectations here is ME

SUNDAY SOUP
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Ol' faithful to warm your hearts & souls this Sunday.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What you'll need:
1/2 onion
2 cloves garlic
1 lb. grass-fed beef
1 small butternut squash
2 cups of brussels sprouts
1 zucchini
2 cups of chopped kale
2+ cups of chicken bone broth
Ramen black rice noodz (optional)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What to do:
- Cook garlic and onions in oil until translucent
- Add beef (chop into large chunks) and cook thoroughly
- Add in squash, zucchini and burssels sprouts and cook until semi-firm
- Add kale and cook until it shrinks down
- Pour in bone brothe and bring to a boil, then simmer for at least 20 min
- Boil water and cook your rice noodles until al dente. Add to soup when eating so that they don't over cook.
- S&P to taste

HAPPY VDAY 💋

Y'all asked for a peanut butter chocolate and your girl delivered!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Introducing...PEANUT BUTTER TRUFFLES
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What you need:
2 tbsp cacao butter
2 tbsp cacao powder
1/2 tbsp honey (to taste)
1 tbsp peanut butter
2 tbsp coconut flour
1 tbsp maple syrup (to taste)
1-2 tbsp almond Milk
Coarse salt
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What to do:
-Melt cacao butter using a double boiler system (a pot of boiling water with a bowl on top)
-Mix in 2 tbsp of cacao powder and honey to taste
-In a separate bowl, mix together coconut flour, almond milke, maple syrup and peanut butter until you form a dough
- Roll the dough into little balls and drop them in the melted chocolate
- Top with salt flakes and chill in the refirgerator for 30min+

🖤 I show myself and my body grace & compassion rather than punishment & guilt
🖤 I'll do whatever it takes to live in alignment with what my highest self wants

THE TIME TO CHANGE HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT YOURSELF IS NOW

You do not want to wake up 65 years old and STILL feel shameful and unhappy with your body.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It isn't a diet that you need.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It isn't a harder work-out.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It's what you BELIEVE about your body that has to change.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So ask yourself, "what do I believe about bodies that makes me continually unhappy with my own"?

I have a confession to make…
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀..I feel afraid and uncomfortable EVERY.FRIGGIN.DAY.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I was doing a journal exercise where I asked myself: "what would future Angell say to you right now"?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The answer was pretty clear: these feelings of fear are a sign that you are doing something BIG, and something even bigger is headed your way.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

LEMON PISTACHIO PASTA
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What you need:
- Pasta (gluten-free or nah)
- Cherry tomatoes
- 1 avocado
- 1/4 cup coconut cream
- 1/2 lemon (juiced)
- 2 tbsp vegan butter (I love )
- 1 tbsp EVOO
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
- Salt
- 1-2 tbsp pistachios
- Paprika
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What to do:
- Boil the pasta until al dente
- Cook tomatoes in EVOO in a frying pan until they are ready to burst
- Blend avocado, coconut cream, lemon juice, EVOO and nutritional yeast
- Place blended mixture in a saucepan and add vegan butter and water until the desired consistency is reached (alfredo-sace consistency)
- Salt sauce to taste
- Grind/chop pistachios with a few pinches of paprika & salt and sprinkle on top of pasta, sauce & tomatoes
- INDULGE
