Feelings? What feelings?
Yes I have feelings too. Eventhough I can be cold blooded ( according to my better half) (because I have poor circulation and my hands and feet are cold all the time)

I have jumped on the entrepreneurial train full time since March this year and honestly best decision ever.

I am more busier then I have ever been not just with fullfilling orders but learning to become an entrepreneur.

I am so fortunate to receive all the help, encouragement, no sugar coating truth from the nameless heros. I can not get to where I am now with those help. The heros that have helped never asked for anything from me and I appreciate it.

All I can do is to give back, give back to those who have just hopped the train. Its hard, its not smooth every day but we all have to keep going.

September 3, 2026, uh the ber months has begun. We have just 4 more months left until 2026 ends.
4 new cakes, improved 6 cookie recipes, did 4 events. What will the rest of 2026 look like?

Let's make these ber months the best months. Keep going! Keep fighting!

After 20 pounds of butter, 8 kg of flour, 5 dozen eggs, and 4 kg of sugar… the Criollo Pastry Cake Gala 2026 came to life. 🎂✨

What a day.

I am incredibly grateful for all the help, encouragement, and support I received. From everyone who reposted the Gala poster and helped spread the word, to my behind-the-scenes team (aka the fam jam💛), and of course, every single person who purchased a ticket and came to experience Criollo Pastry.

Within the first 30 minutes, the dessert display had been completely enjoyed! 🥹 Seeing everyone so excited to discover the different flavours and creations was an incredible feeling.

More than anything, it was so special to see so many of you experience Criollo Pastry in one room.

I know some of you didn't get a chance to try everything you had your eye on especially the chiffon cakes! 👀 Many of those cakes are part of the Criollo Pastry collection, so this doesn't have to be your last taste. 💚

A special thank you to Club Citrine Mobile Mocktail Bar & Set-ups for the beautiful mocktails 🍹 that made the evening that much more special, and to Michaela Tomic | Eclectic Photography for capturing the Gala while I was busy running around making sure everything came together. 📸

And thank you for all your feedbacks. I'm taking it all in, learning from our first Cake Gala, and already thinking about what's next.

Mistakes 😌🍵

Today's mistake? I got the matcha-to-milk ratio wrong, so my buttercream wasn't going to work.

Instead of starting over, I changed the plan and turned it into a matcha filling. Sometimes the recipe changes, and that's okay.

The same goes for life and business. Not everything goes according to plan, but every challenge is an opportunity to adapt, learn, and create something even better.

So if today didn't go quite the way you expected, have some matcha, brush yourself off, and keep going. 🍵💚
