💔 Calves used in calf-roping (tie-down roping) events at are typically just 3 months old, which is the developmental equivalent of a 3.5-year-old human toddler.
They’re chased at high speeds, roped by the neck, yanked to a stop, then lifted and slammed to the ground before having their legs tied. Research shows they experience acute stress, both physically and psychologically, during these rodeo events.
This isn’t harmless entertainment.
