Our Grade 6 students recently had the opportunity to spent the day at the YouthLink Police Centre as part of our leadership program. Throughout the day, students explored topics such as healthy relationships, positive decision making and strategies for staying safe in a variety of environments, including the digital world. They also had the opportunity to think critically and work collaboratively while solving a real legal case scenario. It was an engaging and meaningful learning experience for all!

Our hearts are so full after our 3rd annual Go Grey in May fundraiser!
Thanks to the incredible generosity and school spirit of our community, our lemonade and cookie stand raised an astonishing $1300 for brain tumour awareness month in support of the Alberta Children’s Hospital and Easton, our brave Grade 7 student currently battling brain cancer.
From the smiling faces behind the stand to every cookie purchased and cup of lemonade shared, this day was a beautiful reminder of the power of kindness, community, and coming together for one of our own.

3D shapes came to life in the Primary Wing the last few weeks! Students built cubes with modeling clay, created pyramids using marshmallows and toothpicks, and explored vertices, edges, and faces with wooden blocks. So much hands-on learning, creativity, and fun as we discovered the world of 3D shapes together!
This past week our grade 8 and 9 classes had the opportunity to attend the Elbow River Field Study program. During this field trip they took on the role of scientists and were examining how human impact can affect the biotic and abiotic factors in a watershed. It was an awesome day on the water, and a refreshing way to learn with hands on exploration.
