Our team had the incredible opportunity to contribute to the Women’s Shelter shoebox drive. We carefully inspected and enhanced each box, ensuring no harmful messages or items were included. Together, we’re making a difference, one shoebox at a time!

The SBD team, with the help of some valued team members from Ottawa and Montreal gathered to take action in Amnesty International’s 21st annual Write for Rights event.

W4R is the worlds largest human rights movement and takes place every year on December 10th, the international day for human rights.

Collectively we wrote more than 250 letters in protest of individual human rights violations around the world, asking world leaders, diplomats and even monarchs to take action and bring justice for the individuals who had been murdered, kidnaped, or otherwise had their human rights violated in their countries. We also wrote letters to support the families and loved ones of those we were supporting.

Join us in congratulating the following employees who will celebrate years of service with S.i. Systems by the end of January!

The Montreal team came together again to support Partageons L’Espoir (Share the Warmth), a Montreal-based organization prioritizing the overall development and success of children and youth as well as food security for all, with special attention to school-aged children. We helped set up their weekly vegetable and fruit market, which provides three price point options for payment, allowing customers to pay what they can.

This visit was particularly special as Partageons L’Espoir also has an after-school music program for children, and they were practicing for their concert while we were there! This is only one of the many after-school programs for children that they offer.

Edmonton branches united to volunteer with the Mustard Seed this holiday season! 🌟 Supporting those facing homelessness and poverty, the Mustard Seed provides essential services like emergency shelter and food.

The Mustard Seed was in urgent need of donations for food and we were able to drop off several bags of groceries that would be packaged into holiday dinners and distributed to those in need. We also spread holiday cheer by volunteering to make gingerbread houses and holiday cards, which will be distributed to families. Volunteering with the Mustard Seed was a heartwarming experience, and we eagerly anticipate more opportunities to give back in the New Year!

The FDS Team had the privilege of volunteering at the Boys and Girls Club Ottawa!

BGC Ottawa provides vital programs and services to children and youth in vulnerable neighbourhoods. Their mission is to provide a safe, supportive place where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships, and develop confidence and skills for life.

Our team prepped and cooked Chili and baked Sugar Cookies to feed over 150+ children!
