βοΈ Recap of Day 2 of our sold out Weightlifting Camp by
ποΈ Everyone was tuned in to Chris from the start today as he went over the fundamentals of the clean and jerk in the AM and into its deliberate practice in the afternoon.
π Blending the theory and knowledge of Olympic lifting learned over the weekend into its application, everyone was able to explore and familiarize themselves in a safe and inclusive environment!
π₯ We hope that everyone had a blast this weekend and to those of you that were on the cusp of joining this camp, there's always next time!!

Recap of Day 1 of Weightlifting Camp with
ππΌββοΈ Chris took this group through the intricacies of setting up the right foundations for Olympic weightlifting, nuances of the sn**ch, and how to execute it with participants of all levels. In case you never read his trainer bio, did we ever mention he comes with jokes?
π We have everyone from beginners who have never Olympic Lifted in their life, to those returning the sport after 2 years or recovering from injury, those training for an upcoming competition, and those dedicated to this sport for over 4 years!

πΆ Ever use a rower machine before? Vicky .strength.performance gives us a run down of how it's done ππ»
1. Select your toggle level (1-10)
2. Strap your feet up so that's it's snug to the machine
3. Grab the handles, reaching nice and long towards the front of the machine
4. Using your legs, push yourself away
5. As the handles pass your knees, pull back the handles using your upper body to complete the rowing motion
6. Return to the starting position by sliding yourself back to the front
7. Repeat for your desired goalv(distance, time, watts)

Today we are announcing the addition of Brent Corcilles who has joined our team of personal trainers at Evolve Strength Seton!
With 7 years of general training experience and another 3 years of powerlifting experience, Brent has successfully coached powerlifters of all skill levels to help them reach their full potential. Read more about what Brent has to say:
I have been to multiple Powerlifting competitions, both as a competitor and a handler and I strive to be a person of influence and support to all my clients β Something I wish I had when I first started on my journey with this sport.
Most of my clients are online so I am excited to finally have the space and equipment to help you reach your goals. Whether your goal is to look and feel good, gain strength, learn proper form, or set new PRs β I am ecstatic to meet you!
