“Plastiglomerate” Sculpture. Paper pulp, cardboard, wood knot, and rock. 30” X 7” April 2026.
What is a plastiglomerate? Hybrid found in nature composed of rock sediment and created/made by a mixture of grains, minerals and other natural debris infused together with/by plastic. This phenomena is a result of plastic pollution from over consumption and improper waste management. Plastic fails to decompose and thus fuses with its environment.
I created this pseudo fossil to bring attention to plastic pollution sitting it next to a rock I found in BC with similar patterns to blend my sculpture with found material along with a wood knot giving it an environment in which is may be found.

“Plastic Flora” Sculpture • Cardboard, paper pulp and plastic remnants. 14” x 14” April 2026.
Repurposing recycled paper material doesn’t always involve complete organic matter. Envelops and fliers often include plastic film in which does not break down. Plastic remnants are found in the paper pulp to signify the issue with plastic as a material in advertisement and dispersement of information.
Enjoyed the water halo that formed from the drying process of this sculpture. Happy coincidences ✨

“Seed of a Star.” Sculpture. Paper pulp, cardboard, plastic remnants, polaroid, and India ink. 2026.
Hard vs Soft. Heavy vs Light. Human vs non-human made. A pseudo fossil layered with feminine identity. A link to post capitalist climate impacts. A gentle reminder to engulf in acts of care.

“Plastic Mold.” Mixed Media: Wood, mud, plastic, acrylic paint, metal, rubber & gel medium. February 2026. Alberta University of the Arts.
Plastic Mold uses discarded plastic as both material and concept to explore how synthetic matter leaves lasting marks on the Earth’s surface. The work resembles natural patterns, creating a crossing in which the inorganic appears organic and suggesting that plastic has become a normalized part of our landscape.

“Perspective cloud” Mixed media sculpture. I’ve managed to make it through another semester without purchasing further material in my fine arts practice. This piece was created using repurposed plywood, particle board, collected/donated glass and mirror from my collection and acrylic paint.
Perspective cloud speaks to the disoriented mind of an individual with Borderline Personality Disorder.
Split mind carried by the self • the centre • the masculine + feminine
Perspective Cloud Sculpture 👁️☁️ •••••• “eyes are overused” • quoted by a fellow student • my response • my mind sees more then my eyes
This critique brought up many emotions, I tell stories of my experience through my work, I don’t expect people to understand the flip flop that goes on in my mind but I do know there are people I’ve connected with that share similar frames of observation. Eyes are a universal symbol of perspective • we have two eyes to look and one to see 🤍
