Okay! The last post🤎 I say break, but this is really meant to be a long term goodbye. As seen in previous stories I have been feeling the nudge to leave instagram for over a year now and this is the time when I finally listen to that nudge! Scary in a lot of ways as a business owner who has really relied on it. But it’s already been so freeing letting go of that. Maybe one day I’ll feel led back to this space, but for now you’ll find me shooting all my beautiful weddings & bookings this year, tending to my children, lovin my husband, working on my relationship with Jesus, reading some good books, spending time being present & learning new skills, touching some grass and ultimately just focusing on what is right in front of me! This life is too fleeting to be spending so much time on these little things called phones. Chasing the next dopamine hit or popping on only to spend the next 30 minutes scrolling and before you know it, it’s been hours of off and on screen time all day. (Yup, guilty💀) I know my business will find me and I’m not going anywhere in that sense! Still working and shooting just not on here🤎 Whether you’re brand new here and wondering how to follow along, or a current long term client I’m always available via email and through my website. This app has brought my business to levels I never imagined it to reach, and now it’s time for it to take a backseat and let other avenues do the growing. This may not be goodbye forever, it might be a see you in another lifetime deal, maybe a summer recap in the fall and logging off again, we will see. But I am excited nonetheless for a change🤎 Thank you all so so much for being here 🫶🏻

When Darby & Cam told me about their elopement plans it was the easiest yes ever. They didn’t care about the recent events that took so much life & beauty that make “the perfect photos”. Instead they just cared about the bones behind it, the feelings and memories & being with their favourite people.

There was something so surreal about being a place that had so many stories to tell. One that I was honoured to step foot in and capture the beauty in what seems like a vast wasteland - compared to what it once was. Remarkably enough there was so much life.
