Our Weirton, WV team hit the links this past weekend for their annual Bidell Gas Compression Ltd Golf Tournament, and Mother Nature definitely showed up for this one! Sunshine, friendly competition, plenty of laughs, and a great group of people made for another successful tournament.

And apparently, no golf tournament is complete without a little Dolly Parton making an appearance, front and center. As Dolly would say, “If you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain”, but luckily for this crew, it was nothing but sunshine!

There’s something special about watching an idea turn into something tangible, one piece at a time.

This week’s spotlight features stainless steel vessels and EMD (electric motor-driven) compressors mounted on a dual-train acid gas unit. Working with stainless steel brings its own set of challenges, from precise heat control and proper welding techniques to the extra attention required to maintain the material’s integrity and finish.

From the first weld to the final detail, every package reflects the time, skill, and dedication our team puts into the work.

Nothing says “let’s chill” quite like an ice cream break! We took a little time to cone-nect with coworkers, scoop up some good vibes, and add a little sweetness to the workday.

And let’s just say the banana splits were a HUGE hit!

Because sometimes you just need to pause, grab a scoop, pile on the toppings, and let the good times melt in.

Sometimes a photo is all you need to put the scale of a project into perspective.

Pictured here is one of the largest scrubbers our team has built to date.

Standing approximately 15'6" tall, with a 54" outside diameter, 2" wall thickness, and weighing in at 25,680 lbs, it's a great example of the scale and complexity of the equipment we fabricate. Alongside it, we also completed a second scrubber measuring approximately 15 feet tall, with a 40" outside diameter, 2" wall thickness, and a weight of 19,765 lbs.

A great reminder of the sheer scale of the equipment we build and the expertise that goes into delivering solutions designed to perform in demanding applications.

Our Weirton, WV branch recently celebrated the successful shipment of the first of eight customer units, a CAT 3608 / Ariel KBC4, 3-stage sour compressor package.

As one of eight packages being delivered for this customer, this shipment highlights our team’s ability to provide high-quality, reliable compressor solutions tailored to meet the specific needs and requirements of our customers. From engineering and manufacturing through to final shipment, each package requires strong collaboration, expertise, and attention to detail to ensure we deliver the right solution for the job.

Yeehaw! What an incredible time we had at the Bidell Gas Compression Ltd Annual Family Stampede BBQ yesterday!

With beautiful sunshine overhead, it was the perfect day to gather with family, friends, and coworkers for an afternoon full of fun. From trying your hand at archery and sinking baskets, to colourful face painting, amazing balloon creations, hilarious caricatures, sweet cotton candy, and a petting zoo filled with adorable baby goats (definitely a crowd favourite!), there was no shortage of smiles. Guests also had the chance to meet some adorable pups searching for their forever homes, adding even more heart to an already unforgettable afternoon.

And of course, the delicious BBQ meal brought everyone together to enjoy great food and even better company.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out and made the day such a success. Your laughter, energy, and smiling faces are what make this event so special year after year.
