On A Dime Transformations
Improving recovery outcomes for treatment providers through our Work-Life Transformation Program

You don’t need to shrink your dreams. You need a crew that makes those dreams feel inevitable.
In recovery, in work, in life, your environment matters.
Surround yourself with people who talk about growth like it’s the norm, not the exception. Who treat healing, earning, and evolving like non-negotiables.
Because extreme goals aren't extreme when you're around the right people.

Emotional sobriety isn’t about being Zen all the time... it’s about choosing your peace when your past self would’ve chosen chaos.
Keep it classy. Keep it cool. Keep doing the work.

It’s not about waiting to see what happens. It’s about making it happen.
This week, set the tone.
📌 Set one goal.
📌 Take one step.
📌 Build one habit.
You don’t need all the answers; you just need action.
Because the best way to predict your future… is to roll up your sleeves and create it.
Let’s get it. 💪

Everyone talks about the courage it takes to get sober. But what about the courage it takes to stay?
To sit with calm when your body is still wired for chaos.
To stop apologizing for taking up space.
To let go of the version of yourself that survived but wasn’t really living.
Recovery isn’t just a chapter, it’s a plot twist. And sometimes, the quiet, steady parts are the hardest to write.
If you’re feeling the guilt, the grief, the weird in-between, you’re not alone. You’re just doing the real work.

If you’ve survived addiction, chaos, or hitting rock bottom, job interviews can feel... surreal.
You’ve already rebuilt your life from ashes.
You’ve faced yourself.
You’ve kept going when everyone said you couldn’t.
So yeah, your five-year plan might sound simple:
Stay alive. Set boundaries. Find purpose. Maybe get a dog.
And honestly? That’s the kind of clarity most people wish they had.
Let’s normalize recovery answers in professional spaces.

Just because it’s familiar doesn’t mean it’s safe.
In recovery, one of the hardest lessons is realizing that some people benefited from the version of you who didn’t have boundaries, didn’t speak up, and didn’t prioritize healing.
They’ll call your growth “selfish.”
They’ll call your honesty “drama.”
But you know better now.
Red flags used to be warnings I ignored. Now? They’re reminders that I don’t owe anyone access to me just because they knew the old version.
If it costs you your peace, it’s too damn expensive.
And no, you’re not overreacting. You’re just healing.

Let’s be honest... comebacks are rarely tidy.
They don’t happen in perfect lighting with a motivational soundtrack playing in the background. They happen in messy apartments, in late-night self-talk, in job interviews where your hands still shake.
They happen when you show up anyway.
You might stumble.
You might cry.
You might question if it’s even working.
But real recovery, the kind that sticks, isn’t about impressing anyone. It’s about returning to yourself. Slowly, honestly, and on your own damn terms.
You don’t owe anyone a perfect performance. You owe yourself a real chance.

Let’s stop pretending only traditional experience counts.
Your survival gave you skills.
Now it’s time to own them.
06/17/2025
Recovery isn’t just about what you leave behind... It’s about what you build.
When we get sober, we’re not just getting our life back. We're rebuilding a sense of trust in ourselves. That’s why the work matters. Not just the job, but the daily effort to show up, to stay accountable, and to grow even when it’s hard.
At OAD, we don’t just talk about transformation, we help people live it.

Nobody signs up for rock bottom. But if you’ve been there, you know.
It humbles you. It strips the noise. And it teaches you who you are when there’s nothing left to perform for.
Rock bottom isn’t failure, it’s foundation. It’s where clarity starts. Where resilience is born. And where healing gets real.
Don’t rush past it. Learn from it. Because the version of you that climbs back up?
That’s the one who knows their power.
