Handyman Genie

Customer needed some new stairs and a more permanent gate to keep the dogs on the porch. Turned out pretty darn good with the double deck gates.

Been a busy August with fence builds, started off after the rain in a wet backyard doing 100ft section, next did a full rip out and new build of 280ft and finished the month finishing off the back portion of the 100ft section after it dried out. Happy customers!!

Completed the first fence build of the spring. 170ft of fencing.

If you have small brown watermarks on your ceiling from small plumbing leaks or attic rain you can use this to cover them. Typically blends in good enough you’d never know. Just above the cap is a larger area that was brown. Now you’d never know unless you knew!!

Had a customer that wanted to make an old Alberta parka road sign into a table for their office. Think this turned out pretty neat. Had to make some wood inserts for the back get them secured to the sign and attach the legs.

As the year comes to an end it’s been an exciting year for Handyman Genie, we bought some new equipment to better serve our customers with the Mini Excavator to do deck and fence holes, trenching for utilities on new shops and garages, expanding what we can offer. This year saw substantial growth which excites me on what next year brings. This all isn’t possible without the awesome clients that I have amassed over the last 4 years. I want to thank you all for your support, referrals, and your loyalty.

Little closet reno this week. Fun little project. Remove old wore racks, scrape off popcorn, repair ceiling and walls, paint ceiling and walls and install IKEA PAX closet system.

Some projects for fall, new wooden step and stairs to cover up a weird concrete step, some trenching with the mini excavator, condo door replacement after the police kicked it in.

When one of your clients has properties in other places and you get a work/relax trip out of it.

Had a client that after replacing the rotten face board on the deck, all the railing was rotten as well. To save on some cost the spindles were still in good shape so they were able to be reused. Another happy client.

When a great client needs a deck for the community clubhouse refinished and new stairs built we come through.
